On 6 August 2018, another \u201cRead with Me” child-centered library was opened in Avaye Mandegar Empowerment Institute at the presence of children and their families.
\nThis library is located at Avaye Mandegar Empowerment Center in Darvaze Ghar (Shoosh), a disadvantaged neighborhood in the middle of Tehran. This child-centered library has been established by the financial supports of Mahmoud Mostafazadeh, CEO of the Navdisrah Company. Avaye Mandegar library is designed and equipped with more than 1100 book volumes. From now on, children from low-income families in this neighborhood will have a safe and secure shelter at Darvaze Ghar to read books in peace.<\/p>\n

\nIn addition to reading sessions, the library will implement the Basic Literacy Improvement Program with Creative Learning packages \u201cLearning Sounds\u201d, \u201cLearning Alphabet\u201d and \u201cLearning Math through literature\u201d for pre-school children.
\nThe librarians have been trained in Read with Me workshops held by the Institute for Research on the History of Children\u2019s Literature.<\/p>\n
