We did \u201cjump and clap\u201d movements for a while and then started reading aloud. I showed the book cover to children. They read its name.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cWhat do you see on the front page?\u201d I asked.<\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>Bunny.<\/li>\n<li>Carrot.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">One of them said: \u201cBig Bad Bun means that the bunny is mean and does bad things.\u201d<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Then, we talked about rabbit\u2019s natural habitat, their different colors, food they eat, and that they give birth. I read the author and illustrator\u2019s names. Using help from children, I also mentioned the age group, publishing house, as well as other information.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"color: #f15b40;\">Activities during reading aloud<\/span><\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Children were surprised at the tests Big Bad Bun had to pass in order to join the Hell Bunnies.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cHe\u2019s learning all the bad things!\u201d one of the children said.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cI think he wants to become the worst bunny in the world.\u201d Another said.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Children followed the story enthusiastically. They were curious to find out what happens to the bunny in the end. When I read that the bunny was at his grandma\u2019s, they all cheered up. \u201cIt\u2019s good to know he didn\u2019t really do any of that!\u201d they said.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Afterwards, we discussed the consequences of actions and decided that we have to think before doing things. \u201cThen we shouldn\u2019t believe everything we read. Just like the things Big Bad Bun had written.\u201d They said. I assigned each group to a topic: classroom rules, rules at home, and rules in the street. I gave each group a piece of paper, asked them to choose a name for their group and write a number of rules down. Afterwards, group leaders read their rules to the whole class. I posed some questions: \u201cHow can we reach agreement on a rule? At first, I described what origami means. Then, children followed along as I made an origami bunny.
