{"id":5243,"date":"2015-06-09T05:14:13","date_gmt":"2015-06-09T05:14:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/readwithme.ir\/en\/?p=5243"},"modified":"2017-06-24T14:28:05","modified_gmt":"2017-06-24T09:58:05","slug":"iranian-institute-nominated-for-ibby-asahi-award","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/readwithme.ir\/en\/2015\/content\/iranian-institute-nominated-for-ibby-asahi-award\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;Read with me&#8221; nominated for IBBY-Asahi Award"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 10pt;\">The Children\u2019s Book Council nominated the Institute for Research on the History of Children\u2019s Literature in Iran for the IBBY-Asahi Reading Promotion Award for 2016.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/readwithme.ir\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/bmb-kh-94-4-16_0-3.png\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-6530\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"  wp-image-6530 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/readwithme.ir\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/bmb-kh-94-4-16_0-300x254-2.png\" alt=\"bmb-kh-94-4-16_0\" width=\"299\" height=\"253\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 10pt;\">The council selected the institute for its project \u201cRead with Me\u201d, which has contributed to reading and for its deep influence in the deprived regions of the country, the Persian service of ISNA reported on Sunday.<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 10pt;\"><br \/>\nThe selection board of the council believes that the project has been able to make remarkable and constant changes through providing books for deprived children. The project also fosters the method of reading books aloud to help share books with all children.<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 10pt;\"><br \/>\nPart of the project focuses on equipping libraries in deprived regions where many small libraries have joined this project so far.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 10pt;\">From 2005, the award has been given biennially to two groups or institutions, which make a lasting contribution to book promotion programs for children and young people.<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 12pt;\"><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"> Each prize winner will receive a diploma and a sum of $10,000.00, which is generously given by the Asahi Shimbun Newspaper Company of Japan.
