{"id":5249,"date":"2015-06-01T08:34:41","date_gmt":"2015-06-01T08:34:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/readwithme.ir\/en\/?p=5249"},"modified":"2018-09-26T15:30:24","modified_gmt":"2018-09-26T12:00:24","slug":"young-mothers-share-books-babies-isfahan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/readwithme.ir\/en\/2015\/content\/young-mothers-share-books-babies-isfahan\/","title":{"rendered":"Young mothers learn how to share books with their babies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">On 28 May 2014 <strong>Read With Me<\/strong> held the first session of &#8220;Reading to babies\u00a0and toddlers&#8221; course in Hasseh, Isfahan for 15 mothers, while some of them had their babies with them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/readwithme.ir\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/nozado-nopa-hesse11-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-medium wp-image-5250 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/readwithme.ir\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/nozado-nopa-hesse11-300x168-1.jpg\" alt=\"nozado-nopa-hesse1\" width=\"300\" height=\"168\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Pregnant women, mothers and grandmothers whose children were under two years old participated in this workshop. In this project, this group is supposed to read books with their babies and toddlers for a year and also be trained at the same time. The Institute for Research on the History of Children\u2019s Literature (IRHCL) who runs the <strong>RWM<\/strong>\u00a0project in deprived areas over four years, has focused on babies and toddlers this time because it believes that reading with children should be started at this age. Parents play a major role in their children&#8217;s multi-dimensional mind development during their infancy. Recent research suggests that the number of words a baby hears in one hour will ensure the future educational success of a child.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">In the first session of this one year course, the first <strong>RWM<\/strong> package for babies\u00a0and toddlers containing the book\u00a0<em>Baby Read-Aloud Basics: Fun and Interactive Ways to Help Your Little One Discover the World of Words<\/em>,\u00a0two <em>Spongy Cubes<\/em> and a set of six cardboard books of <em>My First Library <\/em>were given to participants by <em>Fund<\/em> \u00a0for <em>Education &amp; Empowerment of Working Children <\/em>which is affiliated to our institute.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">In this workshop infant capabilities, reading methods to babies and benefits of reading to babies and toddlers were discussed and mothers were given plans to work with their babies for future meetings.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On 28 May 2014 Read With Me held the first session of &#8220;Reading to babies\u00a0and toddlers&#8221; course in Hasseh, Isfahan for 15 mothers, while some of them had their babies with them.
