Some rare documents from Qajar-era, including lithography-printed books and educational documents are shown in this exhibition which was opened in a ceremony attended by several cultural experts. MohammadHadi\u00a0Mohammadi, author and scholar and Farzaneh\u00a0Taheri, head of <em>IRHCL<\/em> research library and Child Culture Virtual Museum represented the <em>Institute for Research on the History of Children\u2019s Literature<\/em> in this ceremony.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Seyyed\u00a0Reza\u00a0Salehi, head of <em>National Library and Archives of I.R. of Iran<\/em> and MohammadAli\u00a0Najafi, former education minister, talked about the importance of education for development and the problems in this field.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Following this session, some cultural experts held a discussion about book promotion where MohammadHadi\u00a0Mohammadi spoke about reading issues in Iran. \u201cMinistry of Education considers reading as a skill while it is a culture\u201d, he mentioned and he introduced <strong>Read\u00a0with\u00a0Me<\/strong> program and receiving 2016 IBBY-Asahi award by this project, \u201c<strong>Read\u00a0with\u00a0Me<\/strong> project with its motto \u201cAll children have the right to read quality books\u201d has taken the culture of reading to underserved areas in Iran where it has gained remarkable achievements.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He also remarked the importance of childhood museums around the world and its effects on book-reading culture, hoping that someday by getting more attention by authorities, the <em>Institute for Research on the History of Children\u2019s Literature<\/em> can exhibit its childhood culture museum for the public.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At the end of its ceremony, MohammadHadi\u00a0Mohammadi (<strong>Read\u00a0with\u00a0Me<\/strong> project), Farrokh\u00a0Haghnejad (<em>HAMI Association<\/em>) and Monir\u00a0Homayouni and Farmehr\u00a0Manjazi (<em>Children Cultural Development Center<\/em>) were appreciated for their efforts in book promotion area.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Institute for Research on the History of Children\u2019s Literature was appreciated for running Read\u00a0with\u00a0Me program in the inauguration of \u201cLearning Treasure\u201d exhibition.
